How To Play YouTube Videos In VLC Media Player?

VLC is an extremely useful application for watching, streaming, and recording audio and video, that’s why VLC Media Player is the world’s most popular video player. If you didn't know, you can also use it to watch your favorite YouTube videos on your desktop without requiring the web browser or the Adobe Flash player.

To  play YouTube videos in VLC media player, open VLC media player and follow these simple steps:

1. Go to YouTube, open the video you want to play and copy the URL of that video.

2. Click Media menu from the menubar of the VLC media player and then choose Open Network Stream or press Ctrl+Nshortcut from keyboard to open the Network URL dialog. 

3. Paste the YouTube video URL and Click Play or hit Enter. When you do, the video start playing within few seconds.
