Dukto: Quickly Transfer Files or Text Between Different Operating Systems

Dukto is free open source file transfer software that allows you to transfer files between computers, even if they have different operating systems.

This free file transfer software is able to share file between different systems, connected over a network, regardless of the operating system. Whether it is Windows, Linux, or Mac, Dukto can easily communicate with these systems. The program does not need to be configured for different firewalls, protocols or permissions, its flexibility allows you to send data easily.

Simply install it on the computer you want to transfer files from/to, launch the application and that's it. The application will automatically display all the computers in your local area network running Dukto and you can start transferring files.

Besides being able to transfer files and folders on your LAN, Dukto also supports sending text snippets so for instance you can easily send a link from one computer to another in your LAN.

By default, the files you receive are saved in your home folder but you can change that from the Dukto settings.
