How To Change Windows 8 Lock Screen?

The Lock screen appears when you first start your computer or when your computer goes to sleep after a period of inactivity. You can personalize this screen in few ways. This screen displays a background image that you can switch to another standard       Windows Lock screen image, or you can use an image of your own. Just follow these simple instruction to change the lock screen background.

1. Press Win + C to access Charms Bar.

2. Now click on Settings option and then click on "Change PC settings" link given at the bottom of right-sidebar.

3. Click Personalize and It'll open the Control Panel showing the lock screen settings page by default. If it’s not already selected then click Lock Screen.

4. Here you can select lock screen background image. Windows 8 comes with some built-in background images for lock screen background. You can click on any of the image to select your lock screen background.

5. If you want to set your desired wallpaper as background of lock screen, click on "Browse" button and then select your desired image.

6. Once you select the image, click on "Choose picture" button.

7. Its Done. Now your selected image will be set as lock screen background immediately.

8. In future, if you want to reset default background images of lock screen, just right-click on the background image in lock screen settings page and select "Revert to defaults" option.
