How To Change Log On Screen In Windows 7?

Windows 7 makes it possible to change the welcome screen that appears when you start your computer. You can set any image you like as your background. In this trick I will show you how to change logon screen in windows 7.

1. Press Win+R shortcut to lunch Run dialog box.

2. Type Regedit in the Run dialog box and press enter.

3. Navigate to:  

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
\Authentication\ LogonUI\Background

4. Double-click the OEMBackground REG_DWORD key and Set value of the key to 1.

5. Now select a background image for Logon Screen with size less than 256KB.

6. Copy that image into:

C:\Windows\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds folder.

7. Rename the image to backgroundDefault.jpg.

8. Reboot your PC, and now your logon Image would have changed.
