How to create a Facebook page

Facebook has more than 1 billion user and it is the best place to promote a blog, website or any business. Creating a fan page in Facebook help you to reach your content or product to the reader or customer and also helps you to generate more and more traffic to your website or blog. Today we are going to learn how to create Facebook fan page.

1. Log in to your Facebook account with your username and password.

2. Click on the settings gear on the top right-hand corner of your page. Click on create new page.

3. Click on the type of page you'd like to create. There are six categories:

·         Local Business or Place

·         Company, Organization or Institution

·         Brand or Product

·         Artist, Band or Public Figure

·         Entertainment

·         Cause or Community

Choose one appropriate category according to your business or content.

4. Select a more specific category from the dropdown menu and fill out the required information.

5. Click Get Started and follow the on-screen instructions.

6. Complete the About section with short description as well as website and then Click "Save Info".

7. Upload a photo that will represent the person or place you are trying to promote and then click save. Select Add to Favorite and Preferred Page Audience if you want.

8. Choose whether or not you'd like to enable ads. Advertising is a great way to reach out to more people, but if you choose this option, you'll have to pay for it. If you don’t like to enable ads then click skip to move on.

Improve Your Page

1. Upload a cover photo. Click on "Add a cover" on the right-hand side of the place where your cover page should be, and then click on "Upload Photo." Choose a photo for your cover page.

2. "Build Audience." If you click on this tab, you will be able to to invite your email contacts, invite your Facebook friends, share the page, or create an advertisement for your page.

3. "Edit Page." If you click on this, you can update your page, manage permissions, add administrators to your page, manage notifications, use an activity log, and see a list of banned users.

4. Post a status update to give your fans more information. Write your post in the comment box and then click on "Post."

5. Upload more photos to give people more information about your organization. Click on "Photos." Once this brings you to a new page, click on "Add photos," and then choose the photos you'd like to upload from your computer.
